Charles M. Duke and John W. Young ride a training version of the Lunar Rover
to one of the crater sites. They conducted mission time-line studies, lunar
traverses, crater samples, and studied the effects of the craters on the
landscapes. The field exercises were held at Atomic Energy Nevada Test Site
with a team of NASA-USGS Geologists and Engineers.
