Astronauts John W. Young, right, prime crew commander, and Charles M. Duke, Jr., lunar module pilot, look at a lunar rock in a processing line in the Lunar Receiving Laboratory (LRL) at the Manned Spacecraft Center (MSC) which was collected on the lunar surface by the Apollo 15 crewmen. The two astronauts pictured will add to man's collection of lunar material when they gather samples during extravehicular activities in the Descartes area of the moon in March 1972.
