Technicians make final preparations to spacesuit of Gemini 10 Command Pilot, John W. Young, who, along with Pilot Michael Collins, were orbited atop a Titan launch vehicle from Cape Kennedy at 5:20pm, EST, July 18, 1966. The space twins were scheduled to perform a series of rendezvous and docking maneuvers with the Gemini 10 Agena, which preceded it in flight by 100 minutes. They also are to rendezvous with the Gemini 8 Agena, and Astronaut Collins will perform two separate extravehicular activity exercises as part of the eighth manned Gemini flight in the National Aeronautics and Space Administration program.
