Following their arrival at Cape Kennedy, Astronauts Virgil I. (Gus) Grissom and John W. Young went directly to the Gemini medical facility at Cape Kennedy (Bio-Astronautics Support Unit-BASU) to undergo a four-hour physical examination similar to the one they took several days before launch. Here Grissom and Young use a world map to show the examining physicians some of the aspects of the flight before the physical got underway. The Manned Spacecraft Center physicians are (left center, moving clockwise) Dr. Charles Berry, chief, Center Medical Programs; Dr. Gordon Benson, Dr. Eugene F. Tubbs, Dr. John F. Ziegleschmid, and Dr. Howard Minners.
